Yesterday, a group of us talked with voters in the local Election District in Bedford, where Nan Hayworth lives and votes. What we heard from her neighbors was that they were overwhelmingly opposed to her repeated - three times! - votes against Medicare and her consistent voting record against the interests of the middle class and the general health of our economy.  Her neighbors are outraged that, as she was selling out the ordinary residents of her district, she was just as consistently voting to protect tax breaks for millionaires and taxpayer subsidies for Big Oil and Gas.  

Hayworth has made it clear she will choose Millionaires over our Medicare every time.

One woman we spoke to had actually been her patient when Hayworth was a practicing opthamologist. She said that she was shocked that the person who seemed to be intelligent and caring about her as a patient could be so callous about her needs as a citizen and  constituent. She also was astonished that, as a former physician, Nan's focus was so completely on her own financial self interest and not on matters of concern, such as the health of women and children.

Congresswoman Hayworth - listen to your neighbors. If they are saying this, just think what the folks in the next town are saying!
